Juvelmetoden (2025)

Veronika works as a manager at an educational association and loves the idea of public education, but she’s frustrated that money flows every which way on seemingly unclear grounds. She’s tearing her hair out because the staff won’t do as she says. They, in turn, think Veronika is unbearable with her constant demands and meticulous ways.

Of course, she’s not one bit better herself—at least not when it comes to Fredrik, her husband who longs for children. Fredrik is a romantic who could really use a chorus of girlfriends for support. With the stubbornness of a madman, he clings to their marriage, even though it leaves quite a lot to be desired.

Mr. Poppetass, the couple’s dog, is the only one in the family who floats through life with his needs constantly fulfilled.

And then there’s the jewelry. The worse things go at work, the faster Veronika’s jewelry box fills up. She bids at auctions, buys from her jeweler, collects and wears. She simply can’t get enough.

Someone might even say her love of jewelry is unhealthy...
